"Hey, Amber! Watch this!" Natalie whispered to Amber. She pulled off her jacket and wrapped it around her chair, then she zipped it up and pulled her arms in so she couldnt move.
"Now tie my sleeves behind me. It will give me a reason not to do my work!" Natalie said.
"No! What if something happens? What if you cant get out in time! What if-"
"Wow you worry way to much. Fine i'll get out. Just un-zip this for me."
Amber un-ziped it. But she had to admit, it looked kindda fun. So she took off her jacket and did the same thing Nataile did.
"Ha. I knew you werent just a over-pretecive person. I knew I picked you for my best friend for a reason!"
Natalie tied the sleeves behind the chair real tight so Amber was absoultly unable to move.
"Okay... now im getting kindda freaked out, please get me out of here now." Amber said while wiggle-ing to get free.
"No,no,no. Im not done yet. Lets kick it up a notch."
She looked around for something that would make Amber really freak out. Then she spotted some ductape on a counter. She got it and when she returned, Amber knew what she was going to do.
"No Natalie. Please dont."
But Natalie got some of the tape and put it over Ambers mouth. Then another layer, then another layer.
"Now scream."
*Silence*
As she expected, you couldnt even hear her scream. Natalie could see the fear in her eyes.
"Okay fine. I've tortured you long enough. I'll get you out."
She was just about to take off the tape when the fire bell rang. It scared the both of them that Amber tipped over in her chair. Natalie tried to get her up, but it was hopeless. She couldnt get to the jacket sleeves that are tied in the back, which is holding Amber in place.
The teacher kept on screaming for Natalie to get out of the room, so she fled. Leaving her best friend on the floor, and for no one to help her.
The room was burned down in the fire, but her friend was no where to be found.
-6 Months Later-
The class went back in the classroom after it was rebuilt. It was the first time in it since the accident. Natalie felt strange being back in that classroom, sitting next to the now-empty desk that lies beside her.
"Natalie." She heard a fant voice whispear/sing her name.
"Natalie."
"Amber?" Natalie thought aloud. "That cant be."
No one ever found out how she got trapped in the fire, and Natalie didnt want to take the blame.
"Natalie." The voice was behind her this time, and when she looked back, she saw the words "Tell them what happened" scratched into the wall.
"Why did you leave me?" The voice said.
Natalie ran out into the hallway and didnt come back. When the teacher went to go check on her, she found her body in the hallway and on the wall, in her blood wrote the words "I told you so."
